It all started out from a random tweet in the middle of the night......

Teri replied to my tweet and from there we are super steady on our Bkk trip! Woots! 3rd Bkk trip this year heh heh. Don't come and "Againnn?!" me okay! & Here comes the golden answer: NO.. I WILL NEVER GET SICK OF BKK! EVERRR.

Booked the earliest flight out which is at 6.35am and Kenneth is supposed to fetch both of us to the airport. To my horror, when I text Teri at 5.08am, she replied "OVERSLEPT". So I cabbed to the airport and the uncle was driving really fast because he needs to change shift after that. It was raining so the whole ride was so scary!

I was so afraid that we would be late and the counter would be close! Thank goodness I arrived just in time ^^V

After some macs breakfast we proceeded to board the plane!

Teri was telling me that her stomach is quite weak and she can't really take street food. Thing is, once we boarded the plane she already complained that she was having tummyaches and throughout the whole ride, she went to shit for like 2-3 times??? Okay, I get it. Point proven

Arrived at Bkk airport after 2 hours. It totally feels like going from Pasir ris to Boonlay 2 times. HAHAHA. After immigrations we made our way to the city and tried to figure out where our hotel is! We booked My Hotel, Bangkok (yes, it's the name of the hotel I'm not trying to be guailan) because it's damn cheap. 39/night only. Took us quite a while plus a lot of asking around before we found the hotel.

It was only 9 plus in the morning but they allowed us to check in the room already!

The room was quite small... And I feel that the sheets aren't really clean. The location wasn't the most perfect too. Given the price that we paid I shouldn't grumble too much but to be honest, I wouldn't choose this hotel again.Well, at least there was hot water for bathing and also hair dryer!

We were supposed to enter through the main pratunam street but I saw this shop with Teri's name at a small lane so we walked in to take a look and continued to walk on that lane which pretty much made us feel so lost. HAHAHA all thanks to you huh Teri!

Proceeded to Platinum after a few hours. It was already 2-3 pm? And we were so hungry! So we decided to have some crepe! This shop is at the basement of Platinum mall

Surprisingly, there was nothing much to buy in platinum. Maybe it's because it's more expensive and we tend to compare the prices to Pratunam's pricing. It's like comparing between Bugis and Far East. Obviously things can't get soooo cheap in a mall right! We kept walking and walking and walking till a point where Teri said "I'm starting to feel bored" hahahaha.Platinum mall is really one giant maze!

Then we felt a lil hungry again so we decided to have the waffles at Platinum food court!

So we decided to go back to the hotel to put down our stuffs and get ready for night markets. HOWEVER................................. We walked out to realise that it's raining... Like pouring.... Waited for the rain to subside a little and we tried to get tuktuk but they kept wanting to scam our money by offering like.. 200 baht. Craaazy. End up we braved the drizzle and walked back to our hotel!

After trying most of our new clothes, we finally left the hotel.

It was still drizzling :( It really sucks when it rains in bkk because the roads are really dirty!!! Like the puddles of water is BLACK in colour. :/ Because of the rain, not many stalls were opened for night market. We were so disappointed!

The rain wasn't getting any smaller and since we can't find any umbrella, we decided to get poncho. I paid 1000baht because I wanted to break my note and the cashier gave me a death stare and was super pissed off at me! WTH! Hahaha! Quite funny though!

We wore these and sooooooo many people looked at us. But what to do, we're tourists!!! HAHAHA

I don't know why my hair was out of the poncho!

It was really boring and we shopped everything we could find.... Until we decided to settle down for some food at Black Canyon coffee in Indra Square.

Food was okkaaaaaaaayyyyyish.

Ended the night with foot massage at Maithai massage. Been there few times already and I really like it there. They have comfy chairs (with pink pillows!!!!) and nice staffs and BEST of all, FREE WIFI!!!! Massage + wifi = WOOOOLALA!!! Heh heh

Day 2:

Looking all fresh in the morning!

We were dressed bkk from head to toe!

After breakfast we went out to the streets to shop again! Morning market outside Baiyoke hotel has really cheap and good finds but they start closing at like 9-10am so you gotta wake up real early!

After that we shopped at Pratunam once again and back to the hotel earlier than expected because we were broke. I find it funny that when planning for this trip, we kept thinking that we wouldn't have enough time to shop. But in reality, we should be thinking that we don't have enough money to shop anyway!

Bought this omelette rice for only 20baht and IT TASTES HEAVENLY!!!!

Checked out the hotel and made our way to the railway station. Since we didn't have any luggage, the staff advise us to walk through the tracks

My stupid retarded sister BEGGED me to buy her this donut. Ever since she tried this for the first time she FELL IN LOVE with it so deeply. Too bad this can't be found in Singapore.

Impulsive buy from the bkk airport 10 mins before door closed. And we had to run to the gate!

Tada!! this is my impulsive buy and I'm totally not regretting! There was a 30% off that's why i was so tempted! Initially I was afraid I wouldn't wear it much because of the loud colour but I've been using it so frequently recently! Woots!

P.s Qf is finally coming back from the jungle tmr. DYING TO HEAR HIS VOICE. I can't wait!!!
