Travelogue: BKK Lovin' {Part II}

A continuation from {Part I}...

Day 3; 3rd June 2013

We actually plan to go to Dream World theme park but the day before we asked the hotel staff and he told us it's a 2 hour drive away. I didn't expect it to be so far!!! So Qf and I were like sian half..... And we took the whole day to decide whether to go or not. And I'm so happy in the end we decided to still go! Because if not, I think I would have regretted.

Breakfast at Macdonald's at Shibuya 109. I had the chicken porridge yumyum

They had a corn pie and tuna pie and we bought one each to try. Qf was happy because I HATE tuna and everytime he wants to buy something that is tuna I will give him a death stare HAHAHA. Sucks to be him. (I don't know how people can love tuna it's so smelly and it's like cat's food???)

And we hopped in a cab to Dreamworld!

The driver wasn't affluent in English and we had some difficulties communicating. He was asking us if we want to take the expressway, which we agreed. But we came to realise we had to pay extra. It's like our ERP but their's is human version. And we had to pay 3 times! Each time was 25-30 baht.

After about 50 min we arrived at Dream world and the fare was 300 baht excluding the extras that we paid. Well, either the hotel staff was exaggerating or the journey was shortened because of the expressway.

Anyway,,,,, here's dream world!!!!

Bought our tickets at 800 baht each which includes entry to snow world as well!

The seat of the swing was super hot my butt almost got burnt!

While I was taking this picture I spy someone from the corner of my eye taking a picture of me lah!!! And indeed it was one of the staff there. Before we left the theme park he showed me a plate with me printed on it. HAHA so creepy! Plus the picture is not even nice lor. So unflattering, and I'm not even looking?! Who will even wanna buy it?!?!?!

There's super many photo taking spots around the theme park. They need more staffs around to take pics for people lah I feel! Like USS, always got people to take for you!

We went into the Giant's house and everything is super huge inside!!!

Next we took this ride:

WHICH IS FREAKING SCARY!!!! Qf almost died hahahaha he didn't even open his eyes

And after that it started pouring SUPER heavily. Luckily Qf brought umbrella!! So we were still able to move from point to point. But the rain was so big that we still got wet! Since it was raining we decided to visit the indoor stuffs.

Snow world!! We were provided with a jacket and a pair of boots. Hahahah looking funny

And we went into the snow area. IT WAS FREEZINGGGGGGGLY COLD!!!!

Seriously the things they provide is not even enough to keep us warm!

And after that it was really too damn cold to continue staying inside. It's like I can't feel my hands anymore!!!!

We also played carnival games and Qf was like.... "Aiya this one so easy... I sure can shoot at least 5 (out of 7)". And guess what... he only shot 3 -.- HAHAHAHA confident ah mr q!!

And also tried my luck at this

And I got 0, which is an icecream. Booohoooo But at least the icecream is yummy!

Since it was still raining we decided to eat at the food court. I had omelette rice (again)

And Qf ordered this noodle thing

Everything was super salty!!!!!!

And we made this keychain hehehe so cute

Finally after resting for about 45 min the rain stopped!

We went for this ride and I started illuminating because of the neon on my romper!

When I saw this carriage I was like "I have to take a pic in it!!!" And then I realise that the area was flooded. :( Qf managed to get in though

After that I realise that I could get up from the other side!! Haha!

Bought some vegetables for 10 baht only to feed the goats. They all seem so hungry!!!!

HAHAHAHA SO FUNNYYYY!!!

We left dream world at about 4.30pm and took a shuttle van (Paid 40 baht each) back to Victory momument BTS, which was just a few stops away from the city area. The journey took around an hour but we had to wait till the whole van is full which took super long!!! ( we were the first to enter the van)

I realise that there are a few malls around Victory monument and the prices are quite alright! The next time I'm in Bkk, gonna try out this area! Maybe it's cheaper because there's not a many tourists there.

Cabbed to MBK and wanted to had coco ichiban curry house but ended up at Yayoi somehow!

We caught Hangover 3 too and the price of movie tickets is half of Sg's so cheap!

While waiting for the movie to start we walked around and I bought a set of bikini. Back at the hotel I realised that the stupid woman scammed me. One side of the bikini has no padding. WALAOOO Y U LIDDIS WAN!

Day 4; 4th June 2013

Last day in Bkk :( Slept till our hearts content and packed up before checking out of the hotel

Told Qf to take picture of me and he was too lazy to stand up so the picture ended up like this hahaha

Had lunch at Platinum's food court. I don't know why everytime I'm there I crave for pineapple fried rice but of ALL the variety that they have, THEY DON'T SELL PINEAPPLE FRIED RICE! WHYYYYYYYYY!!!!!

In the end I had glass noodle which was yummy as well

Qf had some beef noodle

Quail eggs! Didn't manage to spot any of these on the streets so we bought them from the food court. (which wasn't as good)

Shopped around Platinum and I was so disappointed. Everything is super expensive!! 350-400 baht?? And guess what, of all my buys, the things that I hate most are all from Platinum! Expensive yet not nice!!! Hmpf!

Spotted this maggi mee thingy at the stall beside the crepe stall and decided to try it too. Turns out to be too spicy for me :(

Made our way back to the hotel and on the way we bought banana pancakes! Ate it at the lobby of the hotel and the very nice staff even served us complimentary lemon tea. So sweet of them! :') Took a picture before leaving. Wouldn't mind staying here again next time! ^^

Reached the airport super early! Broke us didn't have enough money to even eat! Had to change SGD 10 hahaha

Bought auntie anne's sandwich thinking that the "bread" they use would be pretzel but we were wrong HAHAHAH stupid or what! How is it even possible. Oh well! At least it was yummy!

First time taking scoot and I was impressed. For the same price offered scoot is a much better choice I feel (aircraft wise)

Back to Singapore we go.....

The next few days were difficult. Had to deal with post Bkk withdrawals :(

This trip was so so good I can't wait for the next holiday already (don't know when but hopefully it won't be too far away).
