Qf and I actually planned, booked and paid for a trip to Batam but was cancelled because of the crazy haze. The PSI actually hit 400 omg wtf. I did call over to the hotel and the ferry station to ask if there is any haze there but apparently NOBODY understands what I'm trying to ask. The calls were transferred to at ;east 3 people each time and none of them can answer me! We were afraid that the weather there might be even crazier since the haze is from indonesia so................... we cancelled the trip sadly, and wasn't able to refund the hotel :(

So I spent the afternoon with Jane, Pk and Js at a cafe! We visited La Ristrettos, which is super located at such a weird place! It's actually at level 7 of the Novena Medical center!! Just feels so weird hahaha

Ordered ham and cheese croissant ($9) which was not that fantastic I kinda regretted.

Qf met me at town after that and it was already around 5pm? We walked around and got really bored so I randomly suggested "eh we just go batam la. Since the hotel can't cancel anyway, don't waste"

And to my surprise he actually agreed.

And then, we went back to our respective homes to get our passport and also pack some clothes and headed straight over to harbour front centre.

TOTALLY SOUND LIKE 跑路 PLEASE HAHAH!!!

Anyway, we managed to catch the 8pm ferry to Batam which was quite full! Despite the haze. 40% of the ferry is made our of tiko uncles -.-

Don't know why we like so 不熟.

Reached Batam, VERY hazy, but nobody gives a hoot. Not a single soul wearing a mask at all! And the ferry terminal actually blacked out like twice. The whole place literally went pitch black that kind that you cant see your hands when u put them in front of you! Scaryyyy

Cabbed our hotel; Pacific Palace Hotel. The exterior of this hotel is supposed to look like a cruise but we didn't get to see it because of the haze.

Room was average. The aircon was faulty and it was so hot -.-

Hotel wifi only available at the lobby (what era already please improve) so we spent some time at the lobby because I am an internet slave and needs to be connected to the world.

And guess what we did for the night? Watch TV in the room. PLUS.. It's Singapore's channel 8. HAHAH DAMN LAME PLEASE. Might as well just watch at home!!!

Set the wrong alarm but still manage to wake up 10 min before the breakfast ends! We literally jot up, brushed teeth and chiong-ed down! HAHA.

Oh another thing is that I was happy to know that the hotel's pool in indoor, which means can swim even if there is haze (even brought swim wear). BUT!!!! They were renovating the pool. Zzzzzz..... Talk about bad timings =.='''

ootd: Monochrome floral romper from Gelliz. Love the prints but the cutting is a little big for me! AND I FORGOT TO BRING A BELT T_T. Cannot take it this outfit just looks hideous without a belt!!

Innovative (and desperate) me then tried to use an iPad cable to tie around my waist and it kinda works!! HAHAHAH don't judge please. (Enlarge the photo and try and spot the cable whahahhaa)
