After a day of being back from Bkk, I am back to the land of smiles again! But to Phuket this time round! No, I'm not on a collection of Thailand immigration stamps, it's just coincidence that the dates are so near!
I'm in Lovebonito's dungaree ^^
Wooohooo at the aerobridge!
I hate the ground staff who put Qf and I side by side but separated by the aisles. We checked in pretty early so I don't see why we were allocated such shitty seats. Planned to watch a movie on the flight together but because of this, we barely even talked during the flight because people were just walking around like crazy!
Anyway, thank goodness the flight was only 1.5 hrs and we were done with the immigration very fast.
Phuket is pretty famous for their "Taxi mafias" and crazily expensive cabs. We knew the alternative was to take a mini van but they would stop definitely us by the tour agencies and we didn't want to waste time there like our previous trip. Read on trip advisor that there is actually metered taxis at the airport and we went for it!
Fyi, it's outside the terminal. Once you exit the terminal, turn right and walk straight and you would be able to spot the obvious sign saying "taxi meter". It's hard to miss!
The cab ended up to be slightly more than 800baht which was pretty expensive as well T-T.
Tip if you're going to Phuket: Rent a bike/car. Qf and I spent soooo much on transport. A total of SGD$200. Yes it sounds crazy!! But we both weren't confident in renting bikes nor did we research on rental of cars so we didn't have a choice!
Anyway, checked in to our hotel: See Sea Phuket. Love the design of the room but not so much the location...
The toilet is extremely beautiful. Love the bathtub. It has a rainshower too!
I find the layout of the room very unique! But it's a little troublesome because if you wanna get to the rain shower you have to walk a round to it! Haha!
There was also a balcony but we didn't use it at all because... it's nothing amazing haha
Love the photo worthy wall because of the vintage tiles!
Yay Qf and me :)
HAHAHA my constant pleadings actually got Qf to promising me to bring rila there. I can't believe it really happened! Hehe!
The corridors actually seem quite creepy. It's very dark! And this hotel has NO lifts
HAHA
Hotel lobby which is also the breakfast area. Yes, it's a very small hotel!
I got to say the staff was nice, but he wasn't initiative. It's like he answers the questions that I ask but he doesn't give me extra suggestions, which is needed for most tourists.
Hopped on to a tuktuk and off we went for dinner
Tunk-ka cafe was a cafe that I researched on the net before our trip which has decent affordable food with a view! I am a total sucker for nice views so we definitely had to visit this! Anyway, the tuktuk dropped us at the wrong place and we had to walk up the very steep slope to reach here. If you're visiting this place, it's at the TOP of the hill! Don't stop anywhere before that!
My face is super orange and I'm a noob at photo editting so I can't get it back to normal colour no matter what I do. Conclusion: WHATEVER
The outdoor seats were all reserved so we had no choice but to take the one with lousy views :(
He let me have the seat with the view. He also had dinner with great view what. (ahem, ME lolol )
We were super famished so we just ordered alot! And the food was very yummy!
Total bill was 800baht which was very reasonable I think!
There's a balcony for people look at the view and it was so awesomeeeeee
The staff called us a cab and off we went to the night market at Phuket town. If you're visiting Phuket during the weekends, you MUST visit the night market! There's many things there and reasonable priced unlike the one I went in Krabi!
I am surprised that there were nice, trendy clothes to buy. Because those that you see at the stalls along Patong is really cmi hahahah. Qf and I both bought apparels!
There were LOTS OF food too!
This pineapple is too cute!
Toooo disgusting. How can people eat these???
This was very yummeh. And we had no idea what were those
Qf's favourite food of the day: This mushroom soup. He was super happy with it and couldn't stop raving about it even after the trip!
While waiting for the lady to cook the soup
Other random stuffs:Haha! The line emoticons so cute!
After that we took a tuktuk back to our hotel and it was super expensive as usual. Actually I think it's expensive because their tuktuk is very big and it can fit up to 10 people? So if you travel in a big group it's actually worth it. Too bad for us though! >:(
And this is the end of day 1! ^^
