Brunch date with Qf on a Sunday.

We had lunch at Muffet's Room, which is tucked at a quiet corner of Tanjong Pagar

Truffle Fries
Fresh cut potatoes were used and I think it's because of this, the taste of the truffle was covered by the sweetness of the potatoes. Perhaps not such a good idea to use these potatoes! Result: truffle fries craving unsatisfied :(

Pumpkin Soup
For someone who's not such a fan of pumpkin, this is pretty good

Qf had a vegetarian burrito (my monk bf)

And I had their breakfast set!

I have to admit that I wanted to go to this cafe because I saw pictures of their generous portion of baked beans. HAHA I know I seem like a joke because these baked beans are easily and conveniently available in supermarkets. So what?! I LOVE BAKED BEANS. And I hate that most cafes try to have their own versions of baked beans which... sucks???? Stick to the original because it's the best! Heh #bakedbeanfan.

If you're wondering why the title of the post, this is the reason: 

Few days ago, it was our 50th monthsary. I haven't been in contact with Qf for 3 days (he is in australia for an army exercise) and obviously I miss him like CRAZY. Call me the overly attached girlfriend, I just can't stop thinking about him! And then I sort of started to have these crazy and stupid thoughts that Qf is actually having loads of fun (maybe having booze with his bros??) there that he forgot about me thus not contacting me.. And that made me feel sad lah! 

So I was working my sad ass away the entire day and I reached home to realise that Qf actually ordered a bouquet of roses for me!!!!!! No, he hasn't forgot about me at all!!! In fact, he finally gave me a call that night and told me that he has been trying to contact me but his simcard was going haywire so he had to borrow his friend's phone card to make this call to me. SORRY I AM AN IDIOT hahahhhaha

Since when is he so romantic one??? I still cannot believe it because it's not really his style! It's not that he doesn't know how to be romantic, but he is usually lazy... Haha! Omg, I am soooo touched even till now :') He arranged for the flowers before he went on his trip. Ahhhhhhh..... I was told this kinda thing only happens in drama or romance novels, no? Hehehehehe

Ignore me beaming with happiness but I just want to post these photos here for keepsake. Someday IF we do have any quarrels or IF I am unhappy with him for some reason, I will come back to this post to remind myself of how sweet he is :)
