This post came one month later :x Anyway, I just needed a trip to get myself back on track. So bugged Qf to go to Bkk with me. I very much wanted to do a solo trip but I'm kinda scared and things are gonna be more expensive when travelling alone too.
We decided not to do Bangkok the typical shopping way. So decided to visit Cha-am, which is a 3 hours bus ride away. While waiting for the bus, we ate at the airport food court.
The bus is available right at the airport and it cost us 300 baht each. Pretty comfy ride with big leg room. There is a toilet on the bus itself. And we had to keep our seat belts on the entire ride hahahah
Finally here at Cha-am and we checked in to our resort. We chose Ban Lan Suan Resort after much contemplation. It wasn't the most luxurious one but since it's just one night, there's no point to book a more expensive one.
The rooms are quite nice, but the resort is undergoing renovations so it looks kinda messy and its noisy :/
Outfit of the day:
Romper: Lovebonito
Sandals: Taobao
I love the sandals! It's so comfy and goes well with everything!
Made our way to the first stop of the day: Santorini park. We had a taxi driver to bring us to 3 places, and he quoted us 1500 baht.
Pictures taking time!
There wasn't many people around so we had to do many split shots
And self timer shots
Had our lunch at a random shop
The menu
We had noodles. Their flat noodles are so good and chewy!
Failed split shot.
Next stop: Swiss Sheep Farm
Had the chance to feed the sheeps and they were so aggressive especially if you have carrots (which we didn't)
Give me some food????
I don't know why this place is really dead. There are no shops opened and probably only 1 restaurant operating. Not sure if it's because it's a weekday, but the taxi driver should have warned us about this?? It's really a waste of time.
We were supposed to head back to our hotel but I was googling to realize that there is a night market every Wednesdays there and since it's Wednesday, why not! Got the taxi driver to stop us there instead of our resort.
Phad thai at only 10 baht. What????
We bought some food back to our resort for dinner. And we walked a 2.5km back because taxis always quote super high price. hahahahah
Day 2: 1 August 2014
Breakfast at the resort
Not very impressive hahaha
Cha-am beach right opposite our resort.
Outfit of the day:
Top: H&M
Skirt: Bangkok
Took a minivan back to Bangkok city and it's 160 baht each. It's really squeezy and it took us only 2.5 hours because the driver was driving much faster than the bus did.
Was stopped at Victory Monument and took a cab to Pratunam. We stayed at 93 Hotel and I love the location!
Walked pass this shop selling the curvy cone ice cream and I got excited!
Walking to Siam Paragon
Was not bad!
And the next stop.......... AFTER YOU!!!
I HAVE BEEN CRAVING FOR THEIR AWESOME TOAST SINCE FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HELLO THERE, I MISS YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Kinda regretted ordering the original one because the table beside us was having the one with strawberries and it looks damn awesome!! hahahaha
Walked around Siam Paragon and I found a HUGE rilakkuma!
Phad thai at a random road side stall
Shopped around the night market but didn't get anything because they might be found at Pratunam at a much cheaper price. So, Tuktuk back to our hotel!
We did foot massage and bought food back for supper hahah fat die us
Day 3: 2 Aug 2014
I woke up at 7am to head to the Morning market to shop! And then headed to Pratunam to continue shopping! I realized that the locals might get cheaper rates than tourists! I asked some of the locals if I could wholesale with them since I was alone and they agreed and got a 20 baht discount! Lolol
Pratunam wanton mee again hahahaha
Shopped at Platinum, which I got nothing because everything is so damn expensive.
When we were at the airport, I suddenly started to have this crazy stomach ache. It was REALLY REALLY bad. I didn't know how to survive the flight back. It was so bad to the extent at one point I didnt know what to do other than cry. Thank goodness it's all over and I'm fine now. It was really one of the worst experience ever.
Till then, Bangkok.
Hi, May I know where did you take mini bus from Hua Hin to Bkk?
